Due to continued growth an exciting opportunity currently exists for an experienced Reinforcement Scheduler at one of our locations across Victoria. You will be responsible for interpreting customers approved specifications, structural and architectural drawings and produce work schedules ready for manufacture and delivery.

Key responsibilities include the following:

• Preparation of estimates, bar schedules detailing diameters, grades, shape of bars for production
• Accurately take off reinforcing steel and preparation of cutting list (works schedule) of reinforcing for manufacture and delivery
• Communicate with customers, production, site personal and sales
• Actively promote our products and services to customers to generate maximum sales and margins

To be considered successful in this role, you will be able to demonstrate:

  • Minimum 2 years' as an estimator for building materials
  • High level computer skills, AutoCAD would be an advantage
  • Possess practical and structural knowledge of products and services within the construction and building industry
  • Customer orientated with both internal and external customers
  • Work in team environment that fosters getting the job done
  • Self-motivated and ability to work unsupervised
  • Familiarity with all types of structural drawings for construction including domestic, residential, multi-storey and civil works
