We have an exciting opportunity for a Inventory Planner and Purchasing Officer to join our team at Sunshine North, reporting to the Operations Manager. The role will include but will not be limited to the following responsibilities:

  • Placing and expediting purchase orders.
  • Ensure all purchasing is sought at the most competitive price and delivered on time.
  • Manage the garment contract ensuring all Ausreo employees are correctly supplied, fitted and maintained.
  • Communicate with internal and external customers on matters pertaining to quality delivery, schedules, production, methods and materials to resolve day to day issues.
  • Review and planning of monthly stock purchasing, inventory management and QA of raw materials.
  • Develop and drive new procedures

 

To Be Successful

Our ideal candidate will have experience as a Production Inventory Officer or Purchasing Officer in a similar industry and will thrive in an environment where achieving a common goal within a time frame is paramount.

To be successful, the ideal candidate must have:

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar position.
  • Technical knowledge and skills in manufacturing, inventory control and/or warehousing.
  • Proven experience in change management around process and systems improvement/implementation.
  • High level written and verbal communication skills.
  • High degree of quality awareness.
  • Strong attention to detail
